Product Regulatory Definitions
Gluten Free
Product is inherently gluten free or has been validated through analytical testing to contain less than 20 ppm of gluten, per FDA’s Gluten Free Food Labeling Final Rule.
Kosher Certified
Product is Kosher certified (certifying body is indicated by kosher symbol on package).
Corn Free
Product does not contain corn or ingredients derived from corn (i.e. dextrose, citric acid).
Sesame Seed Free
Product does not contain sesame seed or ingredients derived from sesame seed.
Sulfite Free
Product contains < 10ppm of sulfites per serving.
Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian
Product does not contain meat, but may include milk products and/or eggs.
Vegan
Product does not contain animal ingredients or animal by-products (i.e. honey), use animal ingredients or animal by-products in the manufacturing process (i.e. sugar processed with bone char), and has not been used in animal testing.
Low Fat
Product contains ≤ 3g of fat per FDA reference amount.
Low Sodium
Product contains ≤ 140mg of sodium per FDA reference amount.
Zero Grams Trans Fat
Product contains zero grams trans fat per serving.
Halal Certified
Product is Halal certified.
K-12
Product has a K-12 manufacturer’s product formulation statement available.
